Legal Plans (Metlife)

Overview:

MetLife Legal Plans provide legal representation for you, your spouse and dependents for a wide range of personal legal matters.  

Available Options: 

  1. Base Plan: provides you and your spouse option for Legal insurance
  2. Plus Parents:  in addition to the legal help you receive, your parents and parents-in-law (up to 8 parents – 4 sets) have access to legal help for the issues they face 

Eligibility: 

  • All exempt, non exempt hourly and/or nonunion employees, working 20 hours or more per week as of date of hire. 
  • Union employees  – please consult your CBA to determine your eligibility. 

Cost: 

  • Please visit the Rate Sheet on YourVeoliaBenefits.com site. 
  • Employees will see the cost per pay period when you log into the Benefit Enrollment system. 
  • Employees may elect coverage and will pay via payroll deductions.

  • Portability Procedures Overview: If you participate in the Voluntary Group Legal Plan during your employment with Veolia North America, and wish to continue your coverage after termination or retirement, you must sign-up for portable enrollment within 30 days of your last day of employment.
