Parking & Transit Benefits (Wex)

Overview: 

Veolia offers pre-tax Parking & Transit benefits through our partner Wex. The IRS allows employees to set aside pre-tax funds up to certain monthly limits to order transit and parking passes or vouchers through their local transit authorities, paying with pre-tax dollars up to the limit, and after tax for anything beyond. 

Eligibility: 

• All exempt, non exempt hourly and/or nonunion employees, working 20 hours or more per week as of date of hire. 

• Union employees  – please consult your CBA to determine your eligibility. 

Cost:

• Employees may elect up to the IRS Limit and will pay via payroll deductions
• IRS limit is subject to change every year
  • Effective January 1, 2026, the monthly pre-tax limit for parking and transit benefits is $340 per month.

  • You can enroll in the Commuter Program by clicking a link below.

• • When you log into the Benefit Enrollment system, scroll down to the bottom – you will see “Current Plans”
    • Click Wealth 
    • You should see Transit > Click Change Contribution.
    • Enter the amount (up to $340) to contribute to Transit and/or Parking per month (to cancel enter $0)
    • Click Save
  • You are allowed to make changes to future Commuter elections throughout the year. 
  • Please remember, you will need to sign up for commuter benefits before 10th of the month for the following month’s commuter pass. (Example; sign up by January 10th for February commuter benefit)
